Walker got off to a strong start Thursday at the State Tennis Tournament in Mobile.
They finished as state champions on Friday.
Walker won a pair of singles titles and one doubles title on Friday to walk away with the Class 6A girls championship.
The Vikings finished with 71 points, 11 points ahead of second place Briarwood. Decatur placed a distant third with 47 points.
Both Walker tennis teams are coming home with trophies for the first time since 2010, when the boys won the title and the girls placed second.

The top six teams were separated by just six points.
