As a part of Walker High School’s character development program for extracurricular activity students through the FCA, the Annual Making Excellence a Habit Day was hosted on Monday, March 16th, in the Pam Brown Theater. The keynote speaker was former University of Alabama and NFL player Jeremiah Castille. Jeremiah had a powerful story to share, starting with his recruitment by Coach Bryant, to his playing days at the Capstone, and his endeavors in the National Football League. He is very well thought of in the athletic world and currently serves as the team chaplain for the University of Alabama football team, a capacity that he has served for many years. Castille presented a powerful message of love, hope, perseverance, and accountability to our young men and women. He delivered a message that was encouraging to our young people and their futures.
