Sara: Where did you go to high school? College?
Coach Kelly: High school: UMS College: B.S – University of Mobile, M. Ed – University of South Alabama, Ed.S. – University of West Alabama
Sara: Where did you teach before you came to WHS?
Coach Kelly: Greenville High School
Sara: How do you like WHS?
Coach Kelly: Students with a willingness to better themselves every day, and a staff with total support of that goal.
Sara: What do you teach?
Coach Kelly: Special Education
Sara: How do you spend your time out of school? What are your interests?
Coach Kelly: Football and family
Sara: Why did you decide to become a teacher?
Coach Kelly: I am not finished learning. It allows me to future expand my knowledge, and share that desire with today’s youth.
Sara: What is your favorite thing about teaching?
Coach Kelly: It is all about building individuals, and helping them become more of what they are meant to be.
Sara: Do you have any advice you would like to give to the students of WHS?
Coach Kelly: Take responsibility that has been given to you and shine. Do more with it than was expected.
Sara: Tell us about your family.
Coach Kelly: Wife: Megan – B.S. – Texas A&M University – teacher in Birmingham City Schools. Son: Jackson – 3 weeks old
