The origin of swag dates back 200 years ago in the Middle English/ Scandinavian days. The word came to this world from a guy named C.S. Lewis. The idea seems to be brought up in North America more than any other country on Earth just because we tend to have more swag than any other country. Back in the old days they used the slang term “swag” as stealing money out of a bank or gas station. A thief’s swag was a bag of stolen good or clothes from any department store. The Australians derived form this type swag and made an idiot out of themselves. Thye paid the price for it afterwards after going to jail for so many times. Currently we use the term swag as by saying “Something We All Got”. We use this to improve our daily lives in any form or fashion. We use it every day to get what we want and when we want it. Swag is basically our way of life.
