In a small town in West Texas (18 miles North of Waco, Texas) a fertilizer plant exploded a few weeks ago. The small community nearby that surrounded the plant took some serious damage from the explosion. At least 60 homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed. An exact number of casualties is still unknown but many were injured or killed in the accident.
A video was captured of the plant while it was in a full on blaze. Halfway through the video the devastating explosion is shown. While the cause of the explosion is still being investigated it is speculated to take a while due to the federal chemical safety board still investigating the BP oil spill.
