This year in the Jasper City School System, the Board of Education decided to use a new and creative way for students to make up days we missed due to inclement weather. This new method is called E-Day, which allows students to use Edmodo, our new “Internet classroom” , to do assignments that the teachers give to the students. To do your E-Day assignment you must do the assignment at home, during the dates that are given. The students are encouraged to use their iPads to complete this E-Day assignment, but are allowed to use their computers at home. The Board believes that hopefully in the future, the E-Day assignments can be used for all weather days that we miss, and that it will help our school system develop effective and creative ways to promote instruction beyond the classroom walls.
