Many students at Walker High School hold jobs outside of school hours while maintaining good grades, having a social life, and participating in clubs and sports. In this article we are interviewing Joseph Cagle. He works at Son’s Supermarket as a bag boy.
Do you hold a Job outside of School?
Joseph: Sometimes when there’s nice people and they give me money it’s fun! But when they’re rude and they don’t give good tips it’s terrible!
2. How do you manage your time between school and work?
Joseph: I stress a lot, but usually I manage my between my job and school and doing homework after school.
3. What is the hardest part of your job?
Joseph: Dealing with difficult and stinky people.
4. What kind of skills have you acquired from having this job?
Joseph: Good social skills with strangers, And I learned how to manage my time between school, work, and church.
5. How long do you plan on keeping your job?
Joseph: Not very long, sometime I’ll have to quit during the summer because I’m moving away to Florence to go to college.
