Need to do some Christmas shopping? You might want to take advantage of the sales, deals, and “doorbusters” that will be available to you on Black Friday. This year, Black Friday will be on November 23rd, the day after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, you will probably have to wake up extra early to snag the items on your shopping list, because stores generally open in the wee hours of the morning on this day. For instance, Best Buy will open at midnight. Also, you might have to fight through crowds to locate the perfect gifts. In 2011, an estimated 226 million people shopped in stores or online over the Black Friday weekend. Due to the crowds and determined shoppers, Back Friday has a reputation of being dangerous. According to CBS News, a woman allegedly injured 20 people by spraying pepper spray to make her way to a crate of Xboxes that were on sale. So, if you are going shopping on November 23rd, have a fun and safe trip!
