This past week, Ms. Moore’s and Coach Aldridge’s Physical Science classes performed a fun and interesting experiment; they launched rockets! Yes, you heard right… actual rockets. Ok, so they weren’t constructed of metal and fiberglass, but they were rockets nonetheless. All this week, students have been working hard on making their rockets. They used materials such as poster board, notecards, tape, paint, glitter, stickers, and other bling. However, students had to be careful not to weigh their rockets down. Rockets were launched via battery powered. Some rockets stayed airborne for up to 18 seconds! One student had to travel as far as Bevil State to retrieve their rocket. All the students had a fun time launching their rockets!
