Ms. Moore’s Physics Class did two different labs this past week; one was a two dimensional motion where students measured the range of objects launched at different angles. Another was the law of conservation of momentum where students recorded the initial and final velocities of carts after a collision, so they could calculate the momentum of the objects.
Her Physical Science Class also did two different labs as well this week; one was Newton’s second law of motion. Students adjusted the force used to accelerate a fan cart, then graphed their data to see if Newton’s 2nd law was indeed correct. The other lab was a series of activities that allowed students to investigate electricity.
