The Walker High School Marching Band performed on their home turf for the first time this season, last Friday night. It was an exciting and great experience for the band. They worked extra hard to make sure the show was perfect! During the game the band and the student section were very interactive; when the band would play songs the student section would dance and the students even got to request songs to be played during the game. After the band’s halftime show, they received a standing ovation from the crowd. In the 4th quarter the drum line played Crunk, an all-time favorite stand tune. The Bands first home performance was a great success. All it took was hard work, many practices, and support from their Walker Viking Crowd!
