This week Mason Homan was chosen to be in the spotlight. He is a senior soccer player for the WHS Soccer team. He was chosen for his exemplary leadership skills on and off the playing field. Here are a few questions we asked him:
What is your favorite meal to eat the night before a game?
>Shrimp Fettucini Alfredo.
On gameday, how do you prepare yourself?
>I focus on what we have practiced the day before and the drills we did to get beter.
What do you feel is the best part of your own personal game?
>I like setting people up for good plays. Making good passes is one of my favorite things.
How do you celebrate after a big win?
>I grab some food and chill with a big glass of sweet tea.
What is your ultimate goal as a team for this season?
>To keep getting better and have a great time.
What kind of music do you listen to in order to get yourself ready to play?
>Rock music turned up loud!
Do you feel that playing at Ki-Ro Gambrell Field gives you a significant advantage?
>I do. It’s out field and you put out your best effort to win.
