To determine this week’s feature teacher, numerous students were polled on who they thought deserved the title. The results pointed to one lady who is truly deserving of recognition: Mrs. Cindy Walton. We sat down with Mrs. Walton and asked her a few questions. Here is her response:
Walton: I’ve been working here 19 years.
Q: “What do you like best about teaching?”
Walton: I really enjoy the school spirit here, the students, and the faculty.
Q: “What is your favorite subject within English?”
Walton: My favorite subject would have to be writing.
Q: “What is the last book you read?”
Walton: Fame by Kason Kingsbury
Q: “What are your hobbies outside of teaching?”
Walton: I like scrapbooking, cooking, and church activities.
Q: “If you weren’t teaching English, which subject would you teach?”
Walton: I would probably teach History.
Q: “How do you feel about the new electronics policy?”
Walton: I really like it. I can see how it benefits not only the students, but the teachers as well. However, it will take time for everyone to adjust to it.
Q: “If you had one wish, what would it be?”
Walton: If I could wish for anything, I would wish for a cure for cancer.
Thanks Mrs. Walton!
