Every girl is crazy about a sharp dressed man! That was the theme of the presentation delivered by Bernard’s Clothing Store for Men. Bernard’s employees came to Walker on February 15th to demonstrate to the senior guys how to dress for success. Jack Norris, former Walker student and employee at Bernard’s, presented a slide show demonstrating proper attire for formal events and job interviews to help prepare senior guys for life after high school.
Andrew Harris, Andrew Reed, and James Reed helped the event by modeling prom attire that is popular this year. Andrew Harris modeled the standard black tuxedo with blue vest and bowtie, showing that standard isn’t always boring. Andrew Reed wore the all-white tuxedo with purple vest and tie, making a rather bold appearance in the tux. James Reed wore the black pinstripe tuxedo, black vest and a white tie, going for the more classic look. Jack also talked to the guys about having their own particular style and starting to build a wardrobe now instead of waiting till later in life. Bernard’s presentation will stick with guys after graduation and help them to be able to present themselves properly to potential employers.
