January 9 might possibly be the only Monday that many students will look forward to this year, and that is because of the simple fact that the BCS National Championship game between Alabama and LSU will be played. The season game between the two teams was already considered the “Game of the Year”, but now that the opportunity of a rematch has occurred. There was a lot of question on whether Alabama deserved a chance at a rematch. There were a few games that put away any chances for other teams to jump past Alabama for that number one spot, such as the Oregon loss to USC, Oklahoma State’s loss to Iowa State, Wisconsin’s loss to Ohio State, Stanford’s loss to Oregon, Boise State’s loss to TCU, and Georgia’s loss to LSU. Now as the “Rematch of the Century” gets closer, the suspense builds. Who will come out on top in the end?
