Edie Hand is a successful and well-respected author, business woman, speaker, philanthropist, and actress. She has travel all across the globe and has encountered many different people. On March 30, Walker High School was honored to welcome her as our guest speaker. She charmed her audience, which consist of senior girls, with her captivating stories. She talked about her experiences in various environments, and the wonderful friendships she has developed over the years. She taught the senior class girls to be independent and to be a “Women of True Grit”, which is also the title of one of her novels.
She has written several novels including: Genuine Elvis, The Ride series, which are being made into movies this summer, The Unexpected Gift: Cancer, ABC’s of Selling Etiguette, and many more.
