What are the qualifications to become a part of this team?
Well, this team has three parts. The Geometry Team, as number one. This team is for students enrolled in geometry this semester. Algebra II/ Trigonometry, is the second team. This team is for students enrolled in geometry as well. Lastly, Comprehensive Team, is our third team. This is for students who have completed geometry and algebra II/trig.
If you are interested in joining, the first competition is March 5, 2011 when we will be traveling to Hoover High School to compete. And for a bit more fun, the team will also be competing March the 26th 12011 for Alabama Statewide Math Competition at Samford University for Round 1. Round 2 will be continued, only by invitation of round 1, on April 23, 2011 at University of Alabama.

You may ask why, why would you want to be apart of the math team?
Well Mrs. Holaday will tell you three reasons why:
1) Great to have academic teams and awards on your college resume!
2) Great way to promote our school academically!
3) Great way to be a part of a team and meet new people from other schools!
