See You At The Pole is an annual meeting for public prayer that is organized by surrounding churches and public school students. It starts on September 19 with revivals every night and then ends with the attendees meeting at the flag poles at their schools and having a mass prayer. This year the See You At The Pole revival will be held September 19 – 22 at the CHS Building downtown. The services will begin at 6 pm nightly and all high school and middle school students are invited.
The National See You At The Pole day of prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 22nd. Students will gather near the flagpole at 7 am at their schools for a time of prayer and praise. The Walker High School SYATP gathering will be led by the student members of First Priority and local youth ministers.
Guy Able says, “It is a really awesome experience and it really lifts the spirit.” Principal Jeremy Crigger will be giving the welcome at the revival rally on Monday night and there will be several different speakers and a band that leads the worship and singing every night. It’s almost a mind-blowing thought that Wednesday morning there will be middle-school and high-school kids throughout the world praying at the same time. If you’re not sure whether you want to go on or not, just go. It will be a ton of fun and a good chance to meet new friends. Everyone is welcome to join the group at the flagpole on Wednesday morning.
