On May the 20th, Mrs. Kennedy’s honors biology class took part in the dissection of male sharks. These astounding sharks were actually dogfish sharks that had already been preserved. Mrs. Kennedy’s students took apart the sharks body and analyzed the parts of the body. The dogfish sharks have four layers of teeth. The shark also has a large liver. The reason the dogfish shark has a large liver is because it helps the fish swim in deeper depths of the ocean.
