What is it you do not like about your body? Your height, looks, weight, or abilities? With the increasing numbers of people having plastic surgery, it is evident that everyone is unhappy with something about their body. Most occur among teenagers who are affected by the media and friends’ opinions. These major outlets can damage self-image and confidence. Our newspaper conducted a poll asking what our readers did not like about themselves. Below are some answers from some willing students who have taken the poll.
Cody Braddock said, “Athletic ability because I have nothing else to change.”
Taylor Sherer said, “Athletic ability because I don’t have time to improve my skills.”
According to Wellness.Com , two out of five women and one out of five men would trade three to five years of their life to achieve their ideal weight. The average model is 25% smaller than the average woman, Statistics like these are responsible for the issues many teens suffer from today. As for us, Dakota and Le, we desperately would like to grow a few inches.
Tell us what you would like to change by going and taking the poll!
